Rarely seen such a bad mountain inn. Absolutely not appealing. Totally carelessly furnished. Staff hung out bored at the counter. Chair cushions all stacked in one corner, maybe you could have distributed them on the wooden chairs. Toilets dirty and smelly. After the first impression we didn't want to eat anything.

It is a shame that the restaurant closes at 5pm, although it says they are open until 6pm. We got there before 5 p.m. and came back from the Kehlstein hike and were very thirsty. So did other hikers. Waiters weren't happy that we wanted anything else. I think it's a shame that everything is currently closed up at the Kehlsteinhaus.

We got a relatively large piece of cake, but this was cheap frozen goods (comparable to Edeka's "Gut & Günstig Schwarzwälder Kirsch-Torte" and completely overpriced for € 3.50. The service was very friendly (therefore two stars).

We had a bad experience with the restaurant as there was not a lot of food to choose from. In addition, the cake tasted like it was in the freezer and it took a long time to arrive at the table. The toilets were dirty and there was toilet paper everywhere and the floor was damp, and there was also a constant stench.

Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were unclean and there were no hygiene articles. Price-raised for the fact that discounter articles are obviously sold (drinks / cakes). Yes, a tourist location that could definitely do better!

Good place for an authentic German meal. Had a very good sausage and a good beer here while waiting on the bus to take us up to the mansion.

Delicious authentic meals. I had an amazing goulash. Another meal was a fantastic knudle soup.

Friendly staff and great food

There's only one restaurant, so it's very crowded, and there's only one employee who's ordered, who's paying, who doesn't get an order from an incoming customer. I was able to order within 40 minutes of entering the restaurant, and I got a terrible order, and I said it would take more than 20 minutes to make the food again. an hour's wait for calculation Please go to another restaurant. Fast and nice service.

Were 50 people with a tour group there and had booked. Very fast was served and served. All food was very good despite high attendance. We will be back ;)

Fantastic

The kitchen seems to work mostly with finished products. The salad also contained a dead fly. The restaurant was not recommended. What is very questionable for a tourist region, is the fact that in the restaurant no card payment is allowed. This restaurant is not recommended. Pure tourist rip-off!

just demolished the lasagne and my husband had the deer stew.. it was so good!! coffee was excellent and everything was well priced. Great service from the girls. Would recommend

Eagles nest summer residence of Adolf Hitler. Very impressive.

Beautiful Salzburg beer garden, large parking lot, plenty of space in the large garden and super beer inside

I had a quick wine and water while waiting for the bus; ordered at the bar--in and out in 20 minutes. Friendly service.

Nice food and ambiance

Very very bad service for families. The adults that wanted a beer were welcome at the terrace but the children that wanted an icecream from the kiosk next to the restaurant were not allowed to sit with their parents. You don't leave children unattended 1835 meters up a mountain so we couldn't get a beer.

Needs more staff: the waiters have to work too hard and seem exhausted because of the many costumers. We had to wait about 20 minutes before the waitress had time for us, and i really mean she only then had time for us. Other guest constantly stalked her for attention, since they too had been waiting fairly long. Please hire some extra staff, the prices surely suggest the should have the funds to employ more people...

I love this place

The food was good and the portions were suprisingly large. We sat in the Beirgarten area and enjoyed the beautiful day.

The food seems to be prepared, it arrived very quickly after the order and was not really warm anymore. The apple strudel was really bad, as is the frozen Aldi better if you make it at home. In the beer garden you have no special view, inside it is really pretty. Toilet is not really clean. All in all, disappointing and not recommended.

Terrible service

Insanely great view, but that's about it. Only one service in the large guest room and the full hut is not. Music was over, the coke did not taste. Prices of the menu were okay, but since you have extreme waiting times, we have a planned order refrain and have gone where there is less going on.

Too much queuing, buses take ages to arrive.. But a great day out

Had closed, despite existing information from the Internet that it opened. The bad thing is, if you also have no way to come back into the valley, because the DB bus driver has misinformed us about the bus departure time.

beautiful place

It was snowing the day before we went up, so the view from the restaurant was spectacular. But the service was meh. Can't comment much on the food as we only had hot chocolate and some cakes. They were ok, nothing to scream about. It is the history behind the place that drove us up, not the restaurant.

The kitchen closed almost an hour before what was posted on the net.

This is a large, light and cozy restaurant where you can enjoy a good hot salad and a lot of good drinks.

Just nice and relaxing, great friendly staff highly recommend it.

Roast pork with dumplings average! Bissal fat, packer sauce and the portion of potato salad with cucumber was extremely small! I had to laugh straight away! Big plus the wait staff! Fast, nice and totally friendly !! 😁😁😊👍

Mediocre food. Servers seemed to ignore us because we did not speak German.
